Here is some info I've gathered on the plugs in the DSM
harness. |
|
Connectors C-57,C-58, and C-59 are the connectors on the
non-ECU branch inside the interior on the DSM harness.
C-57 is the big yellowish one. C-58 is the white
plug and C-59 is the blue plug. People have sent me
pinouts, but upon tracing I found them to be different.
I will list what I found. Perhaps another small '90 model difference?
Note: All the plugs are viewed from the front of the
male plug.

Connector C-57
Pin 1 = Defogger Power. Only one THICK wire on this
plug.

 |
Connector C-58
Pin 1 = Cruise Control
Pin 2 = Cruise Control
Pin 3 = Ignition Pulse Detect (ECU pin 109)
Pin 4 = A/C
Pin 5 = A/C
Pin 6 = Wiper Motor
Pin 7 = Wiper Motor
Pin 8 = Cruise Control
Pin 9 = Cruise Control
Pin 10 = Gauge Temp Sensor
Pin 11 = Reverse Lights
Pin 12 = Reverse Lights
Pin 13 = A/C
Pin 14 = Wiper Motor
Pin 15 = Wiper Motor
Pin 16 = Brake Fluid Level |

 |
Connector C-59
Pin 1 = Defogger?
Pin 2 = starter solenoid feed wire.
Pin 3 = to Defogger Relay
Pin 4 = reed switch pin.
Pin 5 = the pos feed for the CAS and coil packs.
Pin 6 = the pos feed for the fuel pump. |
|
There is a relay that comes off of the DSM harness in
the engine bay. This is labeled A-56 in the FSM
and has a small capacitor labeled A-57
A-56 = defogger Relay
A-57 = noise condenser
These are used for the Rear window defogger. You
can get rid of this shit if you want to. The
Starion has this (intelligently) placed in the chassis
harness. |

 |
Connector C-67
Pin 1 = Const 12V (10A fuse) for backup power to
ECU pin 103)
Pin 2 = A/C Relay (from ECU pin 65)
Pin 3 = Not Used
Pin 4 = Check Engine Light
Pin 5 = Diagnosis / Data Transfer (ECU pin 2)
Pin 6 = Self Diagnosis Output (from ECU pin 1)
Pin 7 = Defogger
Pin 8 = Boost Gauge (ECU pin 3) |
