Body / Interior

What can I say.  It was love at first site.  I heart flared fenders.   It started pretty innocently.  The previous owner had added an '83 vented hood, painted it black and added hood pins.  Can't argue with that.  I would have done the same.

Since then I've added my own touches.  I added some gaudy red urethane mud flaps last winter.  These are for more than just show if you've ever seen my driveway.  1/4mi of gravel can do some damage when driven hard daily.  I also added Hella 500 (50watt Halogen) rally lights.  These also serve a purpose as anyone who's ridden with me at night can tell you.  That's really it besides the sweet mesh rims that I got to borrow all last summer.

I loved those fancy/rare/borrowed rims

I am not going to paint the dash red or anything gay like that.  But I do need a little bit of style.  I've got fuzzy dice, fuzzy dash mat and a Hurst T handle shifter :-D.  I've since removed the gauge pod and mounted the Autometer boost gauge in the center of my gauge cluster.

The Starion has a great interior to begin with.  Mine is a tan cloth interior with black leather (and plastic) accents.  The "Turbo" seat belts are also pretty cool.  The front bucket seats are nice and can be cranked pretty tight to fit my slender figure.
