Hello everyone, I joined the site a while ago. So far I have just been creeping around taking in all of the vast information this wonderful site has to offer. For that I thank you all so very much.

Now for my situation, I have been saving money for the past year and plan too most of this year. I had dreams of restoring my 91 eclipse Gst. The more I look at it tho I can't really justify it, I need something with 4x4 capabilities.. But I love my 4g63. With that said on to the questions.

I saw a guy a few cities over who has a old Suzuki truck with 4g63 mated to a Toyota w series trans.

What are my other options for mating a 4x4 transmission to a narrow block 4g?

What are your opinions/concerns about putting this in a jeep cj5 or early yj wrangler?

Thats about all I have for now, but more are sure to come as I dig deeper into this

Thank you all for your help and time.

I like the 1st Gen Mitsu Montero/Dodge Raider. Plenty of easy factory upgrades and with a wideblock the motor will bolt straight up. If you've already got a good narrow, a toyota trans would be a good swap if you can find a driver side drop.
